I had indigestion all the time until we adopted our two kids. I was in my mid thirtys. Rarely have had any since. [emoji848]

I have never had it before, maybe once a year or every other year. Never lost any sleep over it. This is the second night in a row. I just turned 49 last week.

It's bad stuff & bout killed me a few months ago. Gotta fix it before it's gets bad!

What do you recommend? I bought Pepcid AC yesterday after the night before. I took it last night after I woke up, it seemed to help but I never could get back to sleep.

HA, I had PB&J for dinner last night. I did have nachos with jalapenos for lunch yesterday. But like I said, I have been able to eat whatever I want in the past. I hope the last 2 nights are just an anomaly and things get back to normal.

Most of the meds for this are supposed to be taken for two weeks and not long term. But I know a few people who stay on them. This can be fixed with diet, but what the hell fun is that!

I discovered sauerkraut....
I eat it all the time now. That many Germans eating pork all the time have figured it out me thinks.

Guys don't let the acid reflux go unchecked! In 2000 I had a esphagectomy tested positive for cancer, said it looked like hamburger. Took 7in of my esophagus. Not fun!!!!

Pepcid AC will help but it doesn't really treat the problem, just the symptom. Most of the problem is getting older and still eating like we always have.

Mine was painful and turned into ulcers in the esophagus! I only go to the doc when I can no longer stand the pain... Doc put me on Nexium for two weeks. I was told to stop tobacco (chew) & alcohol, eat a lot less meat, less bread, no fried food, eat a lot more vegetables, get more exercise and lose weight. I sorta, kinda followed this.

Lemon water 2-3 times a day is very helpful and will usually cure this, also apple cider vinegar with water a couple time a day.

I take a shot of vinegar 3 times a day, works good for me. I also take protonix once a day.
Sucks gettin old!!!

But the mass qty of vegetation and vinegar fixed everything..

Morning everybody.
I was pleasantly surprised it took less than an hour to get the other head off.
Change out the valve seals, clean up all the gasket surfaces tonight, then put it back on tomorrow night.
In my younger days I would have worked on it until 10 pm. Not so much anymore.
