Good Morning Corn Cobs. Going to be another smoker here today.
Cloudy with a few rumbles of thunder here.

The sweet corn and green beans are just starting to poke through the top crust.
If they hurry, they'll make it before it bakes hard..

It almost worked on my 520 but took 10mm shorter bolts and lacked the wrap handle mount boss (third pic).

Did some further thinking on the bent valve problem. I thinking, at one time, the engine was shut off and this valve was on the top of the cam lobe and sat there a long time. The odometer shows 63 thousand. By the lack of ring ridge, as in no ridge at all, I'm inclined to believe this is original miles on the truck. Hence, it sat a LOT. This would explain the bent push rod. Also the lack of any little dings or dents in the piston crown or cylinder head from a foreign object. While its tore down, I think I'll put in a new lifter.

My mom will be 70 this year. Her and my stepfather just bought their first house (rented their whole life) and have been moving. She doesn't move to well so is not much help in the moving process. Anyhow, moving is a PITA, and she has trouble getting rid of stuff she doesn't need or use, compounding the problem. She likes to read but doesn't want to get rid of the books she read decades ago; try moving a truck load of books. That is what I have been doing today, then did my yard work when I got home.

They way to know if you really have friends is to see who shows up when you need to move.

You should have got some logs and invited everyone to a "Move Mom GTG" followed by some saw races. What other social media group has as many trucks and trailers as we do? :-)

My neighbors were awakened at 6:00 by an old Husqvarna.
It seems all it needed was to sit with fresh fuel in the carb overnight.

Dialed in the idle mixture and speed.
See if it will pull a load later. Don't want to push my luck.

Oil pump works.[emoji106]
