These thing are little snarlies. No wonder climbers like them.

Needs the rubber grommet yet. [emoji19] Wasn’t in the beer box.

That's the same thing that's happening out here. We had a couple outfits from the KC area come out here a decade or so ago and paid crazy prices to lease ground. Most farmers wouldn't pass it up, so now most ground around here is leased. Which kills opportunity for us local guys. Even worse yet, we had a guy who works for an outfitter, that stretches from northern Nebraska, to the Oklahoma panhandle, move into town and he's leasing whatever ground isn't leased already. When people pay however much for a hunt, all they like is trophies.

I share the frustration. Cant blame the farmer though. It's a maintenance free cash crop for them.

Well, 6x dump truck loads of limbs, and 1/4 cord of firewood later, I finished up the pruning job at the neighbor's farmhouse 1/8th mile down the road. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly I can create a mess with that KM130 Kombi pole saw, and how long it takes to clean it up. But, it gets s-word done. The owner, a Korean (2x) Purple heart vet, was so happy he almost cried. He was actually silent for about a minute, and glassy eyed. I got a few bucks for doing it, but seeing him smile with the place looking better was worth it. And, it's always fun playing a 1970's Chevy dump truck with a 350, granny 4-spd and a split diff!

I'm going to put a new alternator on that dump truck tomorrow, as it's going out. It'll be a piece of cake compared to my F-350. Getting the ratchet on the idler pulley of that frenching Ford, and through the fan shroud is almost a 2-person job. It's easy to get at when the radiator shroud, and cooling fan are removed, but that's a ridiculous amount of work, simply for an alternator replacement.

Tapatalk leaves a lot to be desired. And, I refuse to pay a premium for what should be to begin with.

It takes me eight tries to upload a pic from the garage and four if I sit next to our WiFi in the bedroom. [emoji2959]

For those of you that have used aftermarket top ends, what brands have you had success with over the long haul? I'm looking at replacing the top end on my 200t before long. OEM is about $200. Meteor is about $130 and claim to be OEM quality...
