Junkyard, thank you for fostering.

We are on our 3rd foster. The first 2 have
been adopted.

A picture of #3 her name is Fiona.
She is a good girl.

It’s been an adventure! Lol. We may keep the runt, we haven’t decided yet. It’s the first time I’ve done it. The girls are doing all the work, I take the early am potty break as I’m up anyway then I’m off to work while they herd these crazy little pups all day.

I actually looked at a 1000cc intimidator made by the guys that make the spartan mowers out of batesville, AR.. it was pretty impressive..
but me driving that thing around would be like putting lipstick on a pig. Too nice for me.

Study how to make the clay plug under/within the dam. The pond Dad had built about 40 years ago still leaks around the clay plug. On the Current river in the Hoffmann Ferris area an acre and a half pond hasn't got up to design depth after nearly 70 years.
It might not be as easy as it looked to me

Bentonite can seal up a leaky pond dam.

Not the one in the Current river area known as Hoffmann-Ferris area. Uncle Jim & Dad tried a lot of fixits. Bentonite was the most used but, to no avail
On a completely different subject
Why did engineering decide to place the stud in between the opening for wrench/ratchet and the bolt?20200731_080011.jpg top hinge drivers side on donor cavalier. 3 other fasteners, bolts

Or...

Just keep digging till you hit the water table...
100's of trucks of concrete poured into hole under dam of federal lake off #32 west of 21 Iron county. That was to plug hole that had been silver mine til water table was reached. That'd be late 1800's early 1900's. John senior was a child when a group of Spaniards came looking for said mine. 1913 or so. The native American slaves they used couldn't lower the height of water in shaft.
All this concrete will prevent water from leaking into hole under dam m,just have been the federal concept

Looking for recommendations for 30-06, 150 gr ammo. Can’t be more than 150 cause it’s an old rifle made for 150 or less.
It's not just the bullet weight that determines pressure low enough for older firearms. If the box of ammo has pressure listed might help save some grief.
The li9ghter bullet load can have a lot of giddy up. That takes pressure also

Hand load. Only way for something like that. But as far as factory ammo I’ve run Winchester supreme out of my 3006 with good luck. I like their ballistic silver tip ammo. And had decent results for Remington corelock.
