Study how to make the clay plug under/within the dam. The pond Dad had built about 40 years ago still leaks around the clay plug. On the Current river in the Hoffmann Ferris area an acre and a half pond hasn't got up to design depth after nearly 70 years.
It might not be as easy as it looked to me

I dozed out and dammed up a small pond upstream from the one I’m trying to pump out..
We have received 4” of rain in the last 2 days.
First 2” soaked all in, but last night it started to run a little. Pond filled completely.

The good Lord watches when a fellow is doing what you did there! Likes to change our timing sometimes! Ha ha

Howdy fellas! Been a little bit since I've been on here. I hope everyone is doing good! Woke up to another .60 in the rain gauge this am. We had a pretty decent dry spell through the end of May, June and the first part of July, but we've been getting the rain the past 2 weeks. Probably close to 3.5", if not 4". Things are fairly green out here, which is odd for us this time of the year. Hope everyone has a good rest of the day!

Good afternoon!
Picked up this saw a couple days ago.
1948 Titan 200 Junior 74cc.
Supposed to have been one of the first one man saws.
Had to replace the coil and make a fuel line for it.
It only weighs 30 lbs. [emoji849]

2.3” since this morning in River City. No end in sight.

Over 4" in the last several days according to the plastic tree stand. Will hold up #2 bell @ auction some day. Just sits and catches falling rain. Overflow opening right at 4" for the guesstimate. Most soaked in. Creek up 6-7" with very little color, seeping out of the ground which filters rather than adding soil into the mix. IMHO clouds and rain are making for a different sort of transition from July into August this year. Not the only odd cr@p this year come to think of it.

Broke down and got a different side by side today.

I liked the old one, but all these trips to the north 40 at 24 mph were getting old..

This one won’t take but 2 or 3 minutes.. lol
