The only proportioning going on with the vet is the pistons in the rear calipers are much smaller than the front.

Get one of the grandkids over to pump and hold. [emoji106]

I’ve been doing the pump and hold with a 1 x 2 between the peddle and the seat. Tedious and slow at best.

But, good aerobic exercise for a geezer. [emoji90]

We might just end up with three more fresh calipers as O’Reilly price plus core is $77. [emoji848]

Could just gravity bleed it, too. A lot easier.

There is just the two brake lines and a wire to a post between them on the bottom/outlet side of the block/warning switch whatever thingy.

My best guess is there is a spring centered piston that moves and grounds the electrical lead if the front or rear lines is less pressure.

I didn’t find it it the service manual. [emoji90]. Just in the wiring diagram.

Bleed rear brakes in the morning. [emoji1696]
There's no spring at the centering piston. That would defeat it's designed purpose.

It's ……………………………………………...ALIVE !!!

No brakes on the rear yet. It has something to do with the switch on the twin lines from the master cylinder. Warning light comes on.

I hav'nt located my '67 Chassis Service Manual yet.

Not safe yet to take Jim riding but I did ride the grandson around the block.

All in all, O'Reilly Auto Parts is the best go vrs. online.
Leave the back brakes unhooked. Makes smokey burnouts easier.

Had a pretty heavy storm come through Seymour where I was working today.
Stepped outside for a minute, and watched the roof come off a building beside me and land on a row of parked cars along with a truck that was driving down the road.
It flattened what had been a nice Camaro a few minutes earlier.

Poor truck, I wouldn't mind that motor out of that Camaro...... about all it's good for lol

3-53 is gonna sound sweet.

Gonna need a few hot dogs to finish that out.

Not unhooking the rear brakes. There is a lot more weight percentage wise than a passenger car. Like 54% front, 46% rear for a big block. So the rear contribute more stopping.

Next time the opportunity arises, look where the front of the engine is in relation to the front axel centerline. Front of the water pump. Pass cars are at #1 spark plug.

Got brakes bled, thermostat housing and top radiator hose changed out. They were looking real shabby.

Flush and fill radiator next.

Fix brake light switch as we don’t have brake lights. [emoji2959]

Can’t get the hex socket pipe plugs out of the block. [emoji90]

Who uses those?

Oh, yeah I did because they look slick. Dum chit me. [emoji20]

Headlight rollover motors are next and housing pivot bearings need lube.

Well you're no fun.

I’ve only been pulled over once in the vet.

Trooper saw I didn’t have a front plate. I pointed out it had been a Kansas car and showed him the receipt from the Chevy dealer for a front bracket that I was waiting on.

[emoji106]

Stop lights started working. [emoji106] I guess bouncing down the alley shook loose the switch.

I don’t know why but the carb float hasn’t stuck shut anymore. What sidelined Old Blue to begin with. [emoji848]

It was probably afraid it was going to get "the dip".

Well got the old 4010 back together and running well. Let everything get good and broke in then finish tuning the injection pump I rebuilt. Runs pretty good! Def stout.

Looks like they have plenty of rear wheel weights for loader work.
