Lucky that I missed all the bad weather and got to go on my saw run. Wasn't as good on saws as I'd hoped, but I still did pretty darned good I think. Got an old poulan 43, and a really nice homelite xl 103. What I'm most happy about though is a big box of NOS Mcculloch parts, and 3 mcculloch bars, a 28, a 36, both 3/8 sprocket tip, and a 32" solid tip that's almost NOS. Pretty good trip actually.

We missed the storms! Could probably use a rain after all the wind. Wheat is ready to head out.

It's already headed out here, I was looking at the wheat next to my house yesterday. Probably a month or a bit more and I'll be running the grain cart again. Back at work tonight (2 wks on/2wks off) but likely only working Monday and Tuesday. If so, I'll be rebuilding some terraces for the neighbors while they're planting either beans or cotton over a few days next week. Also hauling off some manure for a lady down the road for $40/load, but I've only got to drive 2x miles loaded to dump, so not too bad. Normally I'd be between $50-75/per due to fuel and wear/tear. Oil may be down, but F-Rated trailer tires still aren't inexpensive. Better than big tractor tires though!!

On a better note, my 9010 sold, so I'm going to have Kevin of XS saws port my 562 and 550. Dad still intends to buy a new 395 from Randy in the next year, so we'll see about that. Then we'll have to decide if we're keeping the 660 and the Stumpbroke 372, or not. We're not hurting either way, I just don't really want equipment simply sitting, as s-word breaks sitting still....

You see that too' often in the Midwest, and it never gets easier. I truly hope that She had insurance with a decent company. The hail we had at the house, when the little F1-F2 twister dropped in my back yard, took out the roofs on the house and barn, destroyed the siding on the West and North sides of the house, took out 12 trees, and left baseball sized dents in the top of 2 late seventies/early eighties 7-series BMWs, and those actually had darn good steel in them. Just destroyed them. All in all, I got off pretty lucky. The two were going to become 1 good running car for a work vehicle, but not after that. the glass, and moon roofs were also destroyed...

Morning all! Sprinkling here a bit, but the wheat could use a drink locally.

Forecaster for St. Louis area predicts everything but snow is possible starting with rain early this afternoon down 44. But the variety of stuff is over the next several days including more hail , tornadoes, bad winds. And James left a mess I get to clean up lol20200504_072608.jpg

anybody have any insight on the aftermarket nylon air filters versus the OEM felt filters for the 346?

Also, need a source for 346 muffler bolts. Lost them both somehow. HL supply is out of stock. CCC does not have any either. I found some on ebay if I have to go that route.

Those nylon filters sure seem to let more fines through. Least in my experience with em!

My local Ace Hardware is the place for Chainsaw fasteners. [emoji106]

Wonderful six aisles of misc bits.
