Look carefully at the cam part of the new filter choke flap and one can see where they added material to the original mold. Dremel it back to that mold seam.

John told me Stihl had put out a bulletin to that effect.

They run even better without an air filter at all..

Leaving the muffler loose helps too! On my ms-170 damaging the threads on the end of the rods keeps nuts from disappearing lol. Runs better. But found a 017 at auction with little use. Owner may have been confused about carb adjustment since alongside was a 170 with lower compression, more use

Dressed a 20” bar and sharpened two chains for the Farmertec 460.

Rather than start that nasty chit I put it on the 028 for a cut test.

Little poop pulls it good. [emoji2960]. And, oiled it. But, all I got to cut is some unknown 12”.

East of 75 and some north of 24, (Topeka area?) is a C’list add for four Mac 10-10 types.

Dude has a box of parts for $20.

In that box is a chain brake/clutch cover I could use on my 700.

My C’list app sucks big donkey dick. I can get it on my ‘puter but not my phone.
