Oil pump drive gears from Jack Horners and the 028 is a runner and cutter.

Should have got them gears four weeks ago. [emoji90]

I did shoot the presence lever off to parts unknown. Spent almost an hour looking for it. [emoji2959]

Turns out I had three from Farm Boss types that are the same. [emoji57]

Squirt pulls 3/8” x 16” just fine.

I much prefer .325” x 18” for them.

Which one are you getting the 550xp 2 or the 572

Neither, I’m a Stihl brand hoe.... Although I have branched out & got an Echo 2511t & a Dolmar 5105. I have also come to believe that Carlton chain is every bit as good if not better than Stihl chain & substantially cheaper, maybe the Stihl Kool-Aid is losing its flavor. Who knows, I may own a Husky someday. Right now I’m thinking of saving my pennies for a Simington 451c because so far my attempts at hand filing square has been an exercise in futility.

I dug into a couple of the saws I scored. The 290 needs a crank, I think P&C will be ok. The 310 we thought had a bad bottom end turned out to be a badly scored piston, dang near had to get mean to get the jug off. Big layer of crap on the piston and exhaust side was scored really bad. Bottom end is like new so it’ll get a P&C and be sold to finance my habit lol

Use a Farmertec MS390 engine in those. [emoji106] Ditch the Stihl self tapping screws and use the 6mm machine screws provided.
