Them asshats are the ones screwing the habit. I remember a time of being able to get hinting permission to a half dozen different properties after the owners were done. Now everything has a fee.
That’s cause “chad” wants to grow a fukin beard and hunt deer like Joe Rogan..

Unfortunately, “chad” makes enough expendable income to pay a property manager for hunting rights on someone’s farm..

*s-word happens..

But around here, Chad can *f-word off...

Back in the 70s and 80s when my dad still farmed up in Potowatami County if they came across a truck with out of county or state plate during hunting season they some how had flat tires.

"Chad"sounds like a *b-word.
And so is Joe Rogan. A guy at work won't shut up about him.

Just saying.

OK I will bite...who is Chad and Joe?

You've never heard of Joe Rogan? Fear Factor host, UFC commentator, stand up comic, has a huge podcast, and was on another TV show, I just don't recall what it was.

Chad can mean a few things, but in this case I think it's a guy who thinks he's a cool guy, but in reality is a douche.

Never heard of Joe Rogan.

I don't watch much secular TV, we don't have cable TV or dish.

I do better with activities like shooting, running saws, reloading ammo, smoking meat, home brew, fixing elevators etc.

My knowledge and experience are obviously limited.

I apologize for my ignorance.

No need to apologize. He sure reaches quite a few people every week, like millions, I'd guess. He put up a podcast on Youtube today (it's actually a very good one with a former counter narcotics guy from Mexico) and it already has about 500k views, in around 8 hours, to give ya an idea of his reach. That doesn't include Itunes or wherever else he's at. He's not for everyone and I don't listen to all his stuff, but he does have some good guests on every now and then.

There's plenty of mainstream people I've never heard of that people will mention, so I'm not judging ya one bit. My bubble is fairly small as well, in actuality.

We all have our areas we focus on.

They’re idiots...
Deer can adapt to damn near anything..

Hell, they live near downtown Springfield and KC.
St. Louis county is opening up bow hunting whitetail in some of the county parks this fall. Overpopulation! I've seen deer from I 44 between Lindbergh & 270, behind private school. Jefferson barracks cemetery had a large buck taken one morning about 11 years ago. Drag marks gave that away. Had to be large enough to risk the grief from federalies fines, etc. for hunting on a cemetery for veterans .

You got the "chad" definition perfect!

That's what I try to tell em. Lots a mornings when we go back to the timber the skidder trails have deer tracks all over them!
A fella I work with hunts down in Oregon Co MO.
It’s 800 acres of rocks/clay, hills, bottoms and all timber..
They clear cut several 40 acre quadrants. It was very ugly to look at, but guess what? The following year, they harvested more deer than any previous year, and they were heavier on average.

Opening that stuff up increases forage and critters..

As long as they got cover still, they thrive in it.

Build one then goofy ass towers I see every once and a while.
Around here there are several permanent ones built, some have large hay bale blinds; I guess they are wire framed with plastic looking hay camouflage. A few folks have used old 150bu. gravity flow wagons, built a box/hut, in/on them then have a portable shack.

I've not heard of him either.
But then, there's about 7 billion people on this planet. I've not heard of most of them either.
Not too worried about it.
