I'd like to get a husky or echo pole saw.

I’ve got a husky and don’t like it as far as the epa carb is very picky, seems have to adjust every time use it.
The echo I used was not that way and seemed to have more power.

I've been eyeballing the echos Allen has had at the store. Milwaukee has a nice m18 pole saw I've been thinkn about since I've already got plenty of Milwaukee batteries.

Did a quick weld job on a crack in the brake handle. Since I got this plastic welder, it's turned out to be pretty handy.

when would you know?

Just trying to get a head count for lunch.

Hope everyone likes cheeseburgers..
I apologize Matt, but since Hayden's craniotomy (to remove a section of the front of is skull, due to either a bone cyst or a bone carcinoma, TBD post-op) has been moved up to 6 December, I'm running on fumes getting S-word done, including cutting wood to prepare for that and the associated recovery time. And, I now have a pending shoulder surgery scheduled in Feb to remove more bone spurs and fix some fairly painful bursitis that's affecting my right shoulder...

I relocated the mounts and spring hangers on a 7000# Dexter axle to fit and replaced the coupler with a Demco 10,000# EZ-Latch. It has EZ Lube 8-stud hubs and 12" drum brakes.

How well do you like that Demco coupler? I hadn't seen one until looking at some trailer websites recently, and the design is intriguing, but I curious how robust it is?

Well, I found a NOS recoil cover for the 962. Thought I'd better fire up the log splitter since it's been over a year since I last used it. It started up on the third pull.
Anything needed like log tongs, choker cable, cant hooks, peavey, etc?

Looks like I have 5-6 more 7' x 14' trailer loads of wood to come out of my Buddies place in Mulvane. A mix of Piss Elm, Ash, Hack, White Oak, and Mulberry. That'll set me up decently for next year with the Hedge I'm getting from a few different neighbors locally. Now between all of that, and the log piles in the yard, I have my pre-op work "cut" out for me!

On a less happy note, I just got done shelling out $730 (retails for $919.08), for a new 6.0 Powerstroke wiring harness due to retainer clip failure for the FICM input. There were also several bare spots I noticed elsewhere from chafing over 183K miles, and didn't want to f-word with all of the splicing/heatshrinking I'd have to do to make it right. That harness is a thing of beauty though!

If I rebuild (not that I'll need to anytime soon) the tranny to a stage 3 (with a triple disc converter + all billet internals), and the engine how I want to (roughly 450 at the wheels), I'll still be in the truck for less than $35K, and I see a lot of newer shiny trucks, with way more than 183K on them for more than that dollar amount. I don't know how anyone writes a check for a new or "moderately used" one...

I like it. The self latching feature works well when you drop it over the ball.

That's where I'm at with my 08 dodge. Needs a headgasket, but in thinkn about just building it all from the ground up. I can build it up to about 750hp and still be cheaper than a little newer used truck.
