I’ve got an 028 wood boss for yer next project Carl.
Make that 2!!

Hmm. I always liked the 028's. I know some parts are difficult to get for them.
But you've got to remember this. I've got an 042 and an 048.

I am on the trail of a pellet smoker. I have been looking hard. There is one made in SE MO that I like. It does cost more and has less features but looks well made; and made in USA.

Which one? The smoking brothers is a good one. Didnt have good luck with traeger. And I have a friend with a rectec that he likes.

I've been looking at the larger Rec-Tec myself, along with the Yoder, though neither are cheap. The Yoder is made by the Amish in Yoder, KS, is built like a brick s-word house, and is a heck of a pit. Though, generically cooking hamburgers is a waste of that instrument... Now a good Boston Butt, a few racks of ribs, a large hunk of Brisket, a hog or various fowl, now you're in business!!!

Smoking Brothers is the one made in MO. Rectec is the other one I am considering. You have to buy direct from Rectec; they are made overseas but get really good reviews.

Dad has the smoking bros and has had great luck with it. They are made close to me. Matter of fact we have done some of their sandblasting in the past.

Very sorry for your loss. Lost a friend same way about 7 years ago. Been cutting his whole life. Just never makes sense
