It's been done. Ms 660 crank into machined 661 cases, a lil tlc, and a milling power head that I'm working on collecting as much of the pieces before my turn in line comes up.
Over 96 cc's by a point whatever. That is just what I'm gonna have in the arsenal for when the 72" Forester is needed for milling. Cause I'm really accustomed to picking chips outa my grin:eusa_whistle:
Who’s building them?

I just went thru it again Matt. Corrected 96 to 98.52cc's. Redfin has tole me when his constructing is done he may build a few. I know a man who has operated a Bridgeport since early 1973 on VW cases. But Deetz has the experience ya kno
@moparnut88 the ported 661 already will do what we need to make that stump horizontal. Then the 460 for the lead off slice up to 42" milling. You ever tape the circumference. In a week ana half or 2 there is a sycamore in mouscutah Illinois bout 32" DBH that has been volunteered for my attention. Charlie nearby me lookin for 1" thick so see what I can turn out.

I just read thru that thread, that’s what the last report was. Most of it was over my head, Except that it was a 661M- tronic & the general consensus is that it will run even better when it’s non-Mtronic. I just happen to have one of those brandy new 661 carbed units. I’ll probably have to sell a kidney to finance that type of upgrade though.

Scott builds such a stout 661, it’s gonna be hard to “one up” it with a stroked version.

I have no plans to do much to the 661 at the moment, I can wait to see how those strokers fair over time & compare to other builds. I would rather get my 5105’s worked over first anyway. I have had a couple people back out on firewood so that has put a crunch on my play funds.

I forgot to measure it but I wouldn't be surprised if its wider than 5' at the base.
