I've got a Ranger that does that when it drops below about 20 degrees or so. I wait untill the temps climb back up a bit, bleed it out and continue driving it. One of the reasons I keep a spare truck or two.

Good morning!
Homelite VI 955 was running the wrong air filter for a long time. There was more dirt inside the air box than there was on the outside of the saw. The carburetor metering diaphragm couldn't move because of the debris packed on top of it that got through the vent hole in the cover. Cleaned it up and it starts right up in 10° weather and seems to run fairly good.

They are the *s-word! I ran Kenneth's and had to keep looking down to remind my self that I was still holding that little saw. If you got one with easy start and heated handle you'd never need another saw again lol.

I had a piston and cylinder ready for it but I think I'll let this one ride for a while. Had to put a safety chain on it because it was the only one ready to go that was the right length.
