Glad to see ya around Marc. Been wondering bout you since I emailed ya. Hope all is well and hard times are behind ya. Jerry

Thanks! I landed on my feet and kept moving. Other than needing glasses to read this i-thingy screen and some aches from middle age all is well. I used to laugh at my Dad when he came in aching and sore - serves me right I guess.

Yep. Helped out at a charity cut last Saturday. Spent Sunday recovering.

Ran the 180 some more later this afternoon. Had some problems with cold starting. The choke didn't want to stay closed. I could close it, pull, and it would just pop open. Looked like the kill spring wasn't fully dropping on the back side of the shaft. Tweaked the spring a little, seems better now. The upgrade carb must have a larger throat. The intake boot had a thin plastic ring that fit inside the boot. Had to pull that out 'cause the new throttle plate would hit on it, limiting opening. Pretty touchy on the choke, too. Seems to want one pull on choke then put it to fast idle. Or else it's flooded.
Ill be looking at a muffler mod next. The muffler is pretty open inside. But in think it's asking for more. Time to study some more.

Picked up some parts today. I was riding around on the bike today anyway, so I picked up a 3/4 wrap handle for somebody........ We'll have to get her swapped on this weekend sometime. I think I throw people off when I strap boxes to the back of the bike. People haul other people, why is a box so interesting? Lol My neck is a little sore from the wind pushing me around. Guess I need to ride more.

Hasn't been much fun. He's adamant that his 650 HP car is going to be capable of Winter driving regardless of the engineers saying it shouldn't be driven at temps below 40 degrees. Been quite a handful. :-(

Morning all! So excited to go back to work today, not. I'm gonna ride the bike, so at least I can play on the way to work and the way back. ;) I'm gonna get the orange and white fleet out later and get them ready to do some playing, err, I mean, very serious wood cutting and performance testing this weekend.

Wouldn't mind having something like that. Might be a little long for my driveway though.

Lot's of warmth in the forecast over the weekend. Should make for a slick, muddy mess. Get your muck boots out.
