I’m not sure I’d say 6-8” but came with lots of wind. East/west roads where drifted bad. North/south roads good. My v-plow is 7ft tall and I had lots of roads going over it or right at the top of it.
Yuk...

Keep that stuff up there.

16 have been removed from here this fall that I've seen/heard of. Finally got the hunters to stay in the stands instead of walking around. Efficiency increased dramatically.
Sounds like you guys need a special season.

Good morning men.

Just sighted in the .243, Dad's 8x57mm Remington 700 Classic and my Ruger 77/357. A deer hunting we WILL go, for the first time together in a decade!! We'll be out in Kingman County come Sunday morning.
Ok..

Now you can only carry 1 rifle out there Sunday morning.

Take the .243...

The Remington, when you do your part, seems to be a MOA or better rifle with 170-220gr bullets. We haven't tried anything lighter yet, but 150-165's, essentially duplicating a lighter bullet '06 load ought to be just fine. The 220's aren't abusive, but you damn sure know when the rifle fires.

The .243 has accounted for all but my first deer. The first was with an Enfield jungle carbine in .303. I'm going to try the .357 and if it doesn't work, I'll trade it out for the .243. I also have a M-1 Garand and a sporterized Czech VZ-24 Mauser in 8x57mm at my disposal...
