Got a decent load of ash for stove wood next year Saturday..
Parked it in the shop cause it was too pretty to get rained on.

I hoard the stuff.
Won’t sell it..
those mouth breathing heathens wouldn’t know how to appreciate it anyway.

Those crotches hold a lot of stuff that might want to make a real sharp chain dull..

I don’t expect much life out of any chain used to chunk em up. Semi chisel holds up better than most, but I refuse to use the stuff. If I can avoid it..

Just on principle.. no other good reason.

Well, today turned into a long one. Finally got to leave for home at about 10. Just stopped in Poplar Bluff for fuel.
I sure am glad for the 4 lane road. Driving 60 when it was 2 lane made the trip a lot longer.
