I am sure it could have been used to make some nice boards. But, I don't have a mill. Also, it was in a cemetery so driving heavy equipment in was not an option. It was close enough to a fence that a person with a bucket truck or grapple truck could have grabbed it.

This was a very small cemetery, in the middle of nowhere, that I didn't even know existed. Gravel roads for about a mile. It is maintained by somebody that lives close and has relatives buried there.

Slabs are easier to get across a fence or cross-wize on a 4-wheeler or slid into a Cavalier as long as it is only 2 3/4"x26 1/2"x98"

After thinking about this, I've come to this conclusion . Could it have been used for other things? Maybe, but no use worrying over it. After all, it does make really good firewood .

Any walnut I had to burn it didn’t burn real well and made a lot of ash.

Dad got drawn for a special deer hunt for disabled veterans this past weekend put on thru the wounded warrior project. 6 hunters all veterans got to hunt 300 acres of wildlife refuge on Clearwater lake. Seen a lot of deer and other wildlife and enjoyed the hunt with my dad. Making memories.

Been doing a engine swap in my 1966 sears suburban 12hp.engine was frozed up so i put this 20hp vtwin kohler in it.runs great .just need some front tires .trans and everything is good.
