Baker uses a hydraulic motor on the end of a spring loaded arm that has about a 4" disk with chainsaw chain on the rim. This runs just ahead of the blade path, and leaves a barkless groove for the blade to enter the wood.Any recommendations for log bark removal. Want to remove chunks of bark so I don't dull my circular sawmill blade. Blade stays sharp once I get past the bark. Have been making outside cuts with old insert tips then installing a new set of insert tips for the clean wood.

Knowing Doug, he will find a Sawmill somewhere that has a debarker for sale! That wizard de-barker tool from Baileys might do it. And you could sooth a piss-rev addiction, if you have that affliction...
Those debarkers work well! Had one on a husky 257 when I milled!
Let me find out from my brother. He is using some thing that had a decent spec. sheet.Good morning fellas, upon plugging the cook stove Inlet hole to the chimney last night I discovered that my chimney liner which is clay is missing in about 2 ft in the kitchen. So it looks like it's time to buy a liner, can any of you give me advice on a rigid liner, flexible liner, chunk of steel pipe, what size do you have? It's a brick chimney I'm going to say 30 ft from the thimbe l to the top. Any input would be appreciated, thanks fellas!
