It had fallen off in the parts washing can.
And, the alternate pulley was cleverly concealed under a shop towel on the floor.

Glad im not the only one who sets stuff down, in plain sight, and then cant find it. Worse than that is how many times i walk to somewhere in my shop and stand there trying ti remember what i came for.Traded the 19” bar from the PL-4 shelf queen with the 16” Homie.

The gun blue finish is original BTW. [emoji4]
Then the stupid geezer took over and broke the starter rope. [emoji57] Rather than just tie a new knot at the handle, nothing doing, went for a starter clean and lube.
You guessed it, spring jumped out and tossed the catch washer out.[emoji90] Somewhere remote and hidden.
Dig thru a box of Homie parts and found a suitable pulley of a slightly different design.
And, again the geezer put it down where he can’t find it. [emoji37]
So, we will play ‘hunt for lost parts’ today. [emoji849]
But, that’s OK because the son in law’s mother passed last night. Carlee’s 13th birthday is tomorrow.
Not going anywhere or doing anything. Too risky.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I spent 2 hours looking for my impact, thinking I'd just put it someplace and couldn't find it.Glad im not the only one who sets stuff down, in plain sight, and then cant find it. Hi Dan we miss you when you aren't around.Hey guys! Hope this goes to the right place. I have a tremendous difficulty in working this app. Had a great time with Scott today! Good to see old friends!
( although, it was a bit disconcerting to see him working on a Makita! LOL)
I recently received a great homelite! thanks to everyone! I have attempted to figure out Where it came from to thank them properly, and I did see a post or an email, then have lost it all. Again I have a terrible time with this app. And maybe this post goes to the wrong place too! Miss you guys!

I'm glad I'm not the youngest one doing this lol.
My biggest hurdle these days is stopping the boys from snagging wrenches and not putting them back.
My short term memory been scrambled for 46 years now! Ever since I woke up and asked nurse wat da hell am I doing here? Had been there around six weeks. Don't worry after a while I got used to it, tho sitting in the same spot and not seeing the part that I just put down is still a bit troublingBut the thing is Matt, you do it with authority.
Me?
Uuuuummmmmm.
