Good morning!

I get the day off because there was a cancellation at Emerson’s dentist, and we await the screams. Two fillings...
Next time I say yes to the fluoride treatment...

46,000 feet seems high for a commercial jet don't it?
Maybe the small, new ones can do that. IDK
Figured Steve would know.

So the teeth are filled, and the indomitable one and I are riding our bikes. Five miles so far, that far to go back home. Stopped at a park to play a bit.

A bit humid out here in the floodplain.

Actually 2 miles.
The first picture I posted was supposed to be 46,000 feet.
The second picture I posted was just between Atlanta and Washington DC.
Are they making commercial airliners fly higher now than they used to?

Maybe so Matt. They are more efficient at higher altitudes until the air gets too thin for good combustion. Used to be 35-40,000 ft. was the standard. New technology advances may allow them to cruise higher with no power loss.

I wondered about that..
The numbers Levi was sending me for speed and height seemed all wrong.
I remember being 47,000 feet in a private jet and the pilot telling me all the commercial jets cruised at ~ 36000 feet and air traffic controllers sent the high speed mail tubes up to 45,000 feet to keep em out of the way. And 600 mph was pushing the limit.

Now a SW airlines plane at 46,000 feet and 600 + mph????
I don’t get it..

Yep, it seems pretty high.

Tell Levi they fly higher when they carry tall people. [emoji39]
