The key on mine broke during heavy use but it stayed running but was down on power. Shut it off and wouldn't restart.Well, that would suck, but make sense, the new truck is pretty bumpy and I had it in the bed, though it was on rubber mats. If that’s the case, maybe I can get an echo weed eater and switch out motors. Or does that sound like a bull$chmidt fantasy?

Tell that young in congratulations!
Just tighten back down in the right spot. That key is only for placement
And what model is it ? I have an old Echo string trimmer that might fit the bill.

I believe it's on the output side. That's where mine was.So which side is the flywheel on? It doesn’t look to have enough room in there for one on either the starter side or the output shaft.

Congratulations on MVP

Tell Sam Congrats for me.Sam is a "shooter", driving the basket is not his game (not yet anyway). He shoots lights out in practice, but struggles in the games; some kind of mental block imo. He gets to play but gets the least amount of playing time as anybody on the team, especially in a close game. He never quits, never gets down, never misses practice, plays solid defense, and keeps working hard. Sunday, he knocked down three 3 pointers in the first game, and one 3 pointer in the championship with limited playing time, very limited in the championship. It may not seem like much, but it was huge for him and his confidence.
So, he wasn't the high scorer, didn't have the most rebounds, most assists, most steals, no triple double, not the most minutes played, etc. I guess, for the first time, the coaches got a glimpse of what they think he can be, and wanted him to get the MVP and keep the trophy. Sam was very proud of the award.

I figured as much. A lot to take off to get to it. A local shop that sells Echo and power pruner is also an Oregon dealer, adn I need to get some warranty work done on the cordless because it won't oil, so I'll go there for some advice. It may actually be worth my while to have them go through and snuff it up because I have so many jobs lined up that the slow pace I work on equipment would cut into my earnings more than the cost to have the guys who really know it. I'll at least ask them what they think. Kaw Valley Industrial in Lawrence is a very cool place, helpful and understanding, and not trying to just sell more things. I trust them, even thought they don't handle the Über Alles.I believe it's on the output side. That's where mine was.
