Where exactly are you going to put this toolbox?
That is what I was wondering also
I think these are made for mounting under the bed of a flatbed truck.
My plan is a bit different. The trailer has a square tube top rail, and my thinking (that's the first sign it may go downhill rapidly...) is that fastened end to end with rubber washers, reinforced by angle iron on both bottom edges similarly rubber buffered, they would sit on the rail at the front, opening facing forward. Perfect height, nice accessibility regardless of how full the trailer is, AND a winch could be set up (as Kenneth points out) on a plate attached to the angled channel iron tongue rails, with the cable routing under the boxes.
Does that make sense? I'd only lose about a foot of bed length for cargo space, and could also have lumber up to the rail height, and if need be, remove the box assembly to have the full cargo area.
