Is a model train show similar to a swap meet? Is this one a bigun? The reason I ask is because I have quite a bit of post war Lionel stuff that my mother bought for me in the late 70's and have thought about getting an appraisal, just to see .Good morning! It is cold out, and I started the stove yesterday evening since I was gone all day, and though it got hot enough to actually deform my combustion air intake (I put a stove pipe sleeve over it when I noticed it), the house never got above 67˚. Doing my best to use up that elm I split up.
Model train show this Saturday at the Toyota dealership. I might take Emerson, along with printouts of stories of his adventures in "Old Kansas."
I have seen the Texas special engine's go for a pretty penny and luckily I didn't like those as much as the cast iron smokers when I was young, so they retain that like new in box appeal.
It's national make a primate smile day, give him a banana, he'll appreciate it...
