I've been working on an old power products motor. Need to get the flywheel off. It is STUCK. Pb blaster and a puller on it. Smacked the puller with a hammer while under tension no luck. I left it under tension for the last couple days. Only thing I know to do is heat? Anybody got any ideas?

If its aluminum flywheel I'd be careful with a torch or such. I had a flywheel on my old Briggs that I'd had off 4-5 times when it got stuck. I was able to get it loose with a combination of puller under tension and a prybar behind the flywheel and careful but firm persuasion with a ball peen on the puller.
It was a cast iron flywheel.

Maybe you could use something like CRC Freeze-off, and spray it on just the shaft while keeping it tensioned with the puller.

If you do use heat, plan on new seals :)

Yep its the cast aluminum flywheel. I have let it set under tension. Hoping I come back to it popped off. :)

This would make a fun project for somebody. Early Wheel Horse's. I was afraid to make an offer to him.
He had a couple of AH-81 (131cc) Barker saws that I picked up from him.

How much is he asking for his surface grinder?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
He wants to sell it all together. I'll get his phone number to you. You never know, he might let the surface grinder go by itself since he never set it up in his shop. It's in his basement.

I learned a valuable lesson using a surface grinder one time. Never, EVER forget to turn the magnetic chuck on. Makes a mess of your precision project.
