I have a K750. It was straight-gassed. Alan fixed it up for me.

I think my cousin was the epitome of abusing a truck. He had a 78 half ton Chevy, 305 v-8, three on the tree.
His load of firewood would be everybody else's two loads. Springs were useless because the frame was sitting ON the axle. Tailgate down, cab high all the way out onto the tailgate. Green wood. Saw him roll a rear tire off a rear wheel once negotiating a turn, going way too fast.
He's still alive, how I don't know, and still stupid.

Evening all! Got the last of the Red Oak bucked and split yesterday with Dad. A few observations:
1. 2x cords bucked to 48" lengths piled on trailers looks like a lot more.
2. It's still 2x more cords than before.
3. That S.S.S.E is amazing!!! But - it is a bit of a PITA when dealing with 24" rounds. 16-20" is mo bettah.
4. The 346 that Randy built for Dad is a dandy and I like it VERY much, but that 550xp is very quickly growing on me. I might actually prefer my 562xp and 550xp to Dad's 346xp and 262xp, though all put a smile on my face.
5. My 562xp and possibly the 550 are going to make a trip to see @awol ... Sometime.
6. Intramural Adult volleyball is a lot more work than I remember it being as a kid.
That is all.

Looked at a possible new(er) house today with 300sqft, 1x bathroom and 15 more acres than I have now. 2.5 story Log cabin, 3x bathrooms, 3,500sqft on 19.8 acres. Needs a bit of work as it's a bank repo. It's a mile away from my current place and has 2x ponds on it and a lot of nice native grass and Brome which would do well for the livestock. There's also a poured concrete safe-room which would be great for tornadoes and for my re-loading equipment.

I'd have to fix some things on my place to get it market ready and moving would be an enormous PITA but it could be worth it. Has two wood burners, but they're both zero clearance glass door fireplaces with fans. At least one would have to go to make room for a proper stove that would be MUCH more efficient. 138K but the price is likely VERY negotiable as it's been empty for 2 years.

We'll see. There WOULD be enough room to host a GTG though...

Thats a pretty killer deal! If that was around Topeka it would be getting another 30-40k easily.
