I brought home an other super ez so my first one would not be lonely. It is newer with the plastic recoil cover. I have not checked to see if it has blue solid state ignition. I had to replace the clutch cover due to hole eaten through by loose clutch screw.image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Anybody know the max speed (rpm on a tach) for a homelite super ez???
normally i would tune in wood but it's pouring and no signs of stopping...
Just want to get it close to right before dropping it in some hard maple.

Hey all, new here. I hav't seen much on the Homelite 750. I understand that it's 113cc i believe. I found these at an auction. One is seized up. The other i spent all day sunday tinkering with and got running. Its definitely an impressive machine.

O also have an XL 123 that i paid 7 bucks for at an auction, That one runs and cuts really well.

My favorite is my Super xl auto in blue and white. I got it running and the recoil spring gave out. Have to gind a new one. Bought that saw for 15 bucks.

Made 2 750's into one. Had it runnin good, sharpened the blade, cut some 20" chunks like butter. Cant feel my arms, i fouled the plug after it stalled and restarted it, cleaned it off and it started right up. I think i got a good one here.20170515_180143.jpg

You will want to check the boot on those. A bad boot can ruin a saw. (Air leak lean running)

Thanks for the info, im a bit of a noob with the homelites but im gettin a good little collection going. 2 running, The 750 and an xl123. Next project is the super xl auto, blue and white, might become a resto project just cause i think its cool looking.
