The OE and XPW really can, the XT can't
Meh not here I sold my 390 XP and kept my ms 460 at least it doesn't fall over every time I put it down I even got rid of a 262 XP And a ms261 replaced that same thing it doesn't fall over all the time and both stihls have more tourqe.

A good well done 375 is a good runner. It’s got noticeably more torque than a 372 XT/50mm OE. The problem is the proprietary piston/ring size is kind of a pain in the azz (only two options... oem or weisco which are both expensive). The 52mm aftermarket can run really good when done right but.... the longevity is the problem there obviously. The 50mm OE is still my favorite all around cylinder for many reasons.

Was the 044 stock? If it was, then you’d be crazy not to trade a stock saw for a ported saw
I admit I'm not fine with a stock 372's lack of torque compared to a 044, but the handling and balance, not to mention AV, are miles ahead of the Stihl IMHO. Once ported, the Husky wins out over ported Stihls for the reasons given, Plus the 372 can easily oil a 36" bar.

Well the oiling will never be an issue with a 70cc saw as ill never ask it to run a 36" bar. We got other saws for that.

Agree on the anti vibe thing . I used an 044 i built up for the first time in years the other week and I was a bit stunned at how far anti vibe has come since then.
