Haha! Or how about the 242XP?

Yup, seems that we can't live without the 372. Probably cause there's still plenty of dealers who can't deal with auto-tune yet. :)

It's going to continue in other markets for years and years anyway, so why not here as well. Supposed to be available in late Oct.

Well the 576 forced the prolonged existence of the 372 a few years ago. I actually thought the 575/6 saws weren't to bad. I suppose given the XT 372 meets current EPA and this platform is one of the all time greats as far as pro saws sold why not keep it on the shelves, it's current and doesn't feel dated when cutting compared to newer models. Would have been good to have a 582xp. 372 is such a simple well designed saw, no tricks.

I understand the thinking but I don’t. 372 is pretty well out classed by the 572. Let the cry babies cry and keep the line going forward. If anything should come back it should be the 395, but I know that’s an EPA thing. A guy can wish though.

kinda makes you wonder if this whole thing was about EPA at all...I mean you have to assume they "CAN'T" make them because they couldn't get to new higher EPA numbers...but alas...its only about "Sales" numbers....

Haven't run a 572 yet so my opining means poo... we don't get too many people buying "real size" saws in Husky round these parts.
