I know you have already been over it 1000 times and probably know more than any of us providing ideas but. Fuel pressure could still be a thing worth rechecking one more time? Was that motor originally flex fuel? I think they like 48psi fuel pressure instead of 58

The part number injectors I have are rated at 60psi

Zero use pulling that. I would'nt even think of pulling mine with the new 6.6 gas and those have a much broader torque curve. That's definite diesel territory. I was happy with mine (2013) going over the Bighorn Mountains on our recent Wyoming trip.
A friend of mine has a 6.2 that I put a cam in for him. Brian Tooley racing "Truck Norris" cam. It sounds really good but the tuning isnt quite right and he's not happy with the guy who did that.
Well I traded the half ton for an HD 6.0 gas for the last 5 years. Wasn't winning any drag races but got the job done. Just traded that one a couple months ago for the 6.6 gas and had the maiden voyage with the camper to the Black Hills last week. I guess the bar was set pretty low by the 6.0 but I was real happy with how the 6.6 did there and back. Of course it's only rolling hills between here and there but we spent most of our time above the speed limit, except maybe a couple mile stretch coming up out af the badlands. I know it will be a different story if I ever get to take it over some real mountains but just couldn't justify the diesel at this time considering how often I'm pulling that kind of weight.

I'm just going to order 8 new injectors for an 07 Tahoe that the engine came from tomorrow.

I was under the impression that if the connectors were the same the injectors were cross compatable if used as a set.
Guess I was wrong.

One might be a flex fuel injector? And maybe the flow rate is different. The lt1 swap guy has quite a bit of info on injectors and psi and flow rate.
