Granddaughter's Jeep started surging on acceleration. Error codes indicate cams out of phase. Again. I just replaced timing chain, cam sensors, and oil control valves about a year ago. I hate newer vehicles.

Newest vehicle I've owned was a 2001 VW Jetta TDI. Great car until it was totaled by a distracted driver a couple years ago. I don't think I'll go any newer than that. Currently have a '99 Tacoma and a '98 Pathfinder. Both are rock-solid, dead-dog reliable rigs that will take a person anywhere.

I finally got a call back from Holley on Thursday about my ECU that has been in shipping and testing limbo for weeks now.
I was told it passed testing. He also told me he was calling because he was verifying everything I've tested, then said I'd get a new ECU but needed to check a few things and he would call back...
All this BS has put my mind back into the "I don't want to work on this " mode. I was hoping to have ran it down the road at this point of the year..
I'm real close to pulling out all the Holley stuff, cutting up a factory harness I have, going with HP tuners and chalking this whole Terminator X max thing up as a very expensive mistake.
I've even considered a carbed intake with the module to run the coils. And at this point I'd adapt a fůcķing Thermoquad to it before I'd bolt a Holley on.
Darn, yer not alone. Holley-china couldn't efi their way out of a brown paper bag.

I like jeeps, but they are junk. Get her a Toyota.

That’s my dream car, if I ever get lucky enough to find one that I can afford.
I’m not a computer guy so can’t offer any help, I try to avoid them

Well no computer bs here today. Just 22" Yukon wheels, 3/8 wheel spacers and longer studs. I will say that a 5/8 ground rod driver in the air hammer is a very effective wheel stud remover. Yes a hammer does the same thing but my luck I'd swing, miss the stud and take out the break line. I wanted 20" wheels but these popped up in Erie, PA for a good deal so i settled and took a little road trip
