Long story short my brother worked a deal with a guy to pull the cabs off a pair of 6.4's and in exchange the guy would give him a mostly loaded 4x4 chassis for his bumpside. I was helping him and saw a driver's drop divorced NP205 sitting in the guy's yard near the trucks. In exchange for an additional 4hrs work disconnecting, unbolting, and palletizing the powertrains from the 6.4's I now have a NP205 to swap into my 71 when I do the Cummins swap. No ID tag to confirm my 205 guess, but highboys had 4 t-cases, Dana 20 + 24 or NP203 + 205. Dana cases were solid iron, no aluminum bits. 203's have massive rear snouts. 205's have aluminum bits and no massive snout and that's what this guy has.

Trying to adapt a motorcraft 2100 to an inline 6 chevy clifford intake. Getting close. Just a bit of of work on the drill press with a countersink bit and then drill/tap threads.

2100 is my favorite wood truck and off road carb.
