SecondedNice!
Yeah, Ed is pretty alright!
What about Nissan Altima? My son is 16 in August and I need to find something. Nissan seems to be more affordable than Honda or Toyota.
Ready to go back in, maybe.View attachment 383305View attachment 383306
Drag slicks, or just many extra rear tires. Stepbrother has an SVO 4 cylinder (motor, turbo, and software updates) fox body and received his largest speeding ticket in it and he is proud of it, will never sell it. Stored it here for him while he was working in China and Japan.

This engine is going to be pushing 400 - 425 horsepower. Gonna make it low geared enough that he won't be as apt to get killed at high speed.I would so love to build a Fox body sedan with turbo 2.3.
so using ford drivetrain thenThis engine is going to be pushing 400 - 425 horsepower. Gonna make it low geared enough that he won't be as apt to get killed at high speed.

Chevrolet 350 with a TH350 transmission. Now it has an 8.8 4:11 posi rear end in it. I don't expect it to hold up. When it comes apart, I'll build a 9" Ford axle with a spool.so using ford drivetrain then
my cousin had a 89 with the 302 and it didnt impress me much
all noise no go
To be fair, there wasn't much of anything that would impress back then. This was the era of the 305 unpowered Z28 and front wheel drive Dodge "Chargers". The few bright spots included the Buick Grand National and Mustang SVO.so using ford drivetrain then

Small block Fords could be fun too. It required better pistons, cam, timing set, balancing rotating assembly, head porting, MSD or Mopar ignition box, and of course stripping all the garbage out of the engine compartment. You know. $$$$$so using ford drivetrain then
