When I had planned on driving it home, we through a tire on that is one size smaller. My tape also tells me the smaller tire is closer to the back of the fender than the opposite side.

Definitely need pictures to help decide which way to go.

You need to pull the whole front off and bother fenders so you can get a good look at the rails and spring mountings. You may have a bent front axle as well giving you the illusion the frame is bent. See that a lot on keep wranglers.

Yup, definitely need to tear some stuff off to get a better look. Has to come off to replace it anyway.
I'll be doing some tomorrow. Spending the day here. So much to do is the norm here. May have to start with some garage cleanup. It looks like an unorganized storage unit because .... well, it is.

I have an 04 that is defiantly bent on the drivers side.
It's white and if you can find a ride you can have the parts.
I was going to chain it to my detach neck lowbed and bend it back in shape.
Straightened a 02 Tahoe frame with my 426 backhoe to almost perfect.
From what i see i doubt your frame took much damage.Get the bumper straightened out and the fender off you can probably get the rad support back in good enough shape.

@Sagebrush33 if you were closer I'm pretty sure I'd have a fender for you, as it is I'd still be game for trying to ship it if you want.
Thanks, Slasher. Young local lad I know has collected a few Fords. Has a fender for me. Possibly a bit more.

@Yukon Stihl Where abouts are you in the north. I'm in upstate NY. If ya decide to fix it though don't hesitate. I'm not putting mine back in action anytime soon.

I love this forum. Guys like yous and others here do not hesitate to help a brother out.

You're welcome.

I never realized that y'all were posting projects in here. I might have a few....
Me too. My yard is littered with em and 2 more were recently added. My ditch eating Ford and then the wife's FJ Cruiser puked it's transmission 2 weeks after. I have a '97 ford 1 ton dump that needs frame work at the dump hinges, A Ford Escape that needs a bunch of work done to make it drivable again, and lastly a 97 International 4900 series flatbed dump. I have to put the pump back together with its new seal and build sides, with tailgate, for the bed.

If I don't get moving on this stuff, I'll end up with a salvage yard.
Yunck, yunck, yunck.

My latest project....87 Dodge Dakota.

Got it with a lost title for nearly nothing. Managed to get a title for it. Had a 21 year old lien on it. The person who owned it then had passed away. Luckily I know the court clerk well, and the guy at the bank was cool about releasing the lien.

Now to fix the jury rigged brakes.
