The OG CN40 bars were sold long ago.

The new style is currently marketed by leftcoastsupply as others have mentioned...still an Aussie made bar to my knowledge. They are priced cheap and sizes are obscure because they basically bought out their inventory.

Swap tips on a .404 bar and embrace the .063 gauge chain

The .404 bars are slightly taller than the 3/8 bars. So you cannot swap the tips from .404 to 3/8.

Enough taller that a guy can't profile the rails down to match the new tip? Seems blending the rails with a file, say 1" back from the tip, would make the difference manageable and perhaps even unnoticeable? !

It's a fair amount to remove.

SNT/25 .404 vs. HVT/24 3/8
