I've used them JRed cans for a few years (same as Husky has just different colour)

They only carry 6 liter, pricey, but worth it, mine has stayed in forrest for a year now.

The methanol and other expensive fuels are all in metal cans. Not sure what kind of lining they have though.

Are there any fuel cans out there that are any good? I absolutely hate the styles available today! The expand and contract and if you go to fill a saw and don't relieve the pressure look out! So has anyone found some good ones? What are you using? I left this one out over night and it got into the 40's!

Plus this kit = old style gas cans. *Be Aware*,you can buy the normal and high flow spout kit and I don't recommend the high flow for saw use but they are great for 5 gallon cans of diesel going in a tractor

I buy every one of the yellow spout cans I find, I must have 12 or so of them from 6 gallon diesel jug, to a 1/2 gallon gas jugs, usually pay less then 5 dollars for them. But I carry a 1 gallon flexible tube jug that allows the spout to set back into the jug for every day use, the flexibility of it makes it easy to fill saws also have a 2 gallon just like it.

I bought a couple of 5-gal kerosene cans last year that were the new-fangled EPA chit. Immediately walked back over to the aisle and purchased the conversion, non-EPA spouts, got'em home, replaced the spouts, drilled and reamed a .490 vent hole in the top rear, snapped in and sealed in place the 1/2" vent that came with the conversion spouts. Sent the chit EPA spouts to the landfill with the trash.
I'm guessing this is what you are talking about? Looks pretty good, but I also now think the valve stem idea is a good one and I can get that locally.

I have the no spill. It still sucks in and must be relieved by the spout button.
I like the metal cans but am not sure I want to make the investment.
