I just saw these are now available from USA dealers. Who has the best price? Who has one? What's the quality of the rear handle like? Pros, cons? Is it easy to get the handle off, or even to convert a T to a P? I need to get me one.

Here is the top handle version, it is very very lightly made up saw,
maybe the rear handle will be stronger if it suits you that way.

Local dealer in Clinton has them on the shelf for $409 with a 14” bar. Feels very light, I was able to handle it side by side with the T model and it seems to balance better. Not sure I would pay $400 for one, but it make a very handy saw to keep by a chipper or for small brush without using a top handle.

I need to look at the ipl of both saws. See what's all involved in a conversion. If its north of 1/2 the cost of a new P, I'll just buy the P.

I'm no fan of the 193 but to be fair your comparing 2 different saw classes there. Ms150/151 would be the direct competitor.

Thats a fact. I was looking at them from the UK but held off in hopes they came here.

Agree. I deal with this on the regular. The minute the word arborist gets attached to gear it instantly doubles the price. The 151 is a quality saw to be sure, but I really see no reason to choose it over the echo 2511.
