Size comparison for reference. Some of these are massive, compared to others. But some people may find the larger sizes cumbersome. Oregon also makes a larger format, clamp on file guide (557849 Professional, 23736A DuraMax).

On the saw (and most commonly) I use what you show as "new style" Granberg. When I have a number to do I use the FG-2. The Granberg works "OK", but wouldn't mind an upgrade for on the saw work.

Several guys have modified the Granberg style guides to accept 'square' files, although, this has not taken off like wildfire.

Might be hard to compete with an FG-2; you mentioned ‘Granberg’!

There is the FG-3 . . . about the same size and mass as the FG-2

FG-3 doesn't seem to exist in the U.S. Looks like the occasional NOS or used go for significant bucks and are rare.
I'll have to do some looking at what's available on the market for new units. One of the Tecomecs looks tempting.

I bought a dozen raker files . They seem to hold up as well ,or better than the files I’ve had before . ( Stihl ,husq., generic files . )
