Yeah, I have a full set of WCS raker gauges, all sizes now. 3/8"LP to .404". Very useful for different types of wood, different chain gauge and different power-head performance. Really liking this simple little product for *dialing it in* chain-wise in performance. Very practical for every day saw use. Kudo's to Gordy

If you bought the original Duke's chain I bet you a chocolate chip cookie you will be happy. If the raker gauges you bought are the WCS gauges I'll double or triple the bet. Gordy makes some good stuff
I did get the OG I believe and yes the raker gauge is simple and effective so glad I come across those as well. Can’t wait to run some of the chain and file it some. Basically if I like it I’ll be ordering 15 chains in 14/18/20/24/36. So 75 total should keep the truck stocked for the year

And I thought I had issues. With your more practical application of saw chain for (guessing)professional use I now know I have issues regarding chain saws. Truthfully already knew my saw and ax issues. With Duke's saw chain(original) I think you will be pleased regarding cost vs performance. Good chain so far. Just my humble opinion here. Keep us posted on a pro's opinion

Yeah I have a saw issue as well. Yes professional use most definitely don’t go through to much until you do. Some of the old cottage trees I remove good days you only hit one or two nails. Bad days I’ve made 5 different cuts and hit 5 different nails. Crazy *s-word some can be saved some go straight to the scrap pile. We run 60/70 hrs a week use saws with 14/20/24/36 basically every day. I’m not a cheap ass I believe in you get what you pay for some things are fine with a cheaper version some aren’t. Way I see it if I can get 3 for the price of 1 basically then I have 3 times to hit *s-word vs one lol if it holds a decent edge even better. I touch up saws before they’re dull so it don’t bother me to spend 30 min out of 10 hrs to get the razors edge back. Nothing beats a sharp saw that’s ported
