3-pack loops & full rolls, courtesy of @srcarr52 & @thedude74

I seem to have some issues loading the main page and browsing content, but the below link works great.

when u can buy v85 20" for 21€ .
22€ for 72DL/20" here locally I think.
Yeah, no point in importing full comp chains.
56DL X-Cut for my PS-550 was 17€.
0.30€/DL

I am eyeballing full skip in higher DL's though, but still not worth the trouble - shipping from the US to Croatia is just too dang expensive.

Sigh.... :(
No Duke's chains for me.
Though the 44$ is not that bad, just not worth it for a single 3-pack.

That's using the Shopify shipping estimator. I bet if you email him he'd be willing to unpackage them from the blister pack so they pack tighter which will hopefully save on shipping.

Nope, it wouldn't!
6lbs of chains tightly packed into a tiny box - 92$ shipping.
And I got a couple small boxes with goodies from the US over time, shipping just kills it.
Even tried alternative shipping company, it was a disaster.

My Makita EA5000XS came to me over Greece, thanks to Dan @AlfA01 🍻

I am good on chains, I have a decent stash and I can easily source brand chains locally or online.
I am just ogling full skip, day dreaming - nevermind me.

That's unfortunate Wil. Shipping costs have definitely gone up in recent years. Dukes shipping cost up here is better than most all others. Hell, some won't even ship to Alaska.

Going to order a few goodies including some chain in the next day or two. I like the fact that 25' and 50' rolls are available.

I've personally tried the Dukes chain in 3/8 72dl .050 on my bigger saws and 325 72dl .050 on my 550xp and they cut pretty good and stay sharp for a long while even in dirty wood.. I'm thinking that their .325 chain is what you'd consider to be regular-kerf as opposed to NK narrow-kerf (which is standard on lots of newer small saws) but it still worked just fine w/Oregon Speedcut bar.
This brand is now my go-to chain for any questionable wood and on paid cutting jobs because if I destroy one its not as bad $-wise as if I destroyed a Stihl RS chain or a square ground chain as its something like $12-15 a chain vs $35-40

I felled the tree with my 461 30” Oregon skip and had to stop and sharpen it. I’d say the duke’s is more durable.
Cool info!

I can't seem to find a liking for Stihl chains.
Although the 3/8" Picco Full Chisel Sondre sent me is really nice, but I have nothing to compare it to.

I cut up a load of ash today with a ported 365 special. I took a new loop of the dukes 72DL 3/8" chain and dropped the rakers to .040" right away. The chain actually hauled through the ash like a champ for two tanks of fuel before I melted. It was still cutting great, so I will resume the test when I get back to the pile. The chain was way too grabby for cutting a soft maple tree that had also been dropped, but I got through it. This was probably the first time I felt impressed by how well a round ground chain held up cutting ash with low rakers.
