The only problem you might get is that you are going to miss G system on the rest of chainsaws you have.
Once you become accustomed to the heat, it's hard to take anything else with you to the forest.

Starting to wonder if you're trying to heat the whole forest with all those G saws of yours. LOL

lol, its a long story!
I did not started with G saws, but when I first got one I got so used to the comfort that almost every non heathers has left me.

I have a 254XPG. It's my only heated saw, but in cold weather it gets the most use.
Those 254XPG's are famous over here Randy.

Here are the pics, and yes that Dolmar 6100 followed me home to, I had a moment of weakness. Booth are new, never fueled. Not sure I need the Dolmar, it might be for sale soon, we will see

You might find the Dolmar to be a new favorite... word on town is that they are potent

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

I owned 1 already, but I traded it. Saw this one with the Dolmar name and couldn't resist. They are a strong saw, but the husqvarna is balanced a little better imo.

Sugi hara bar has to wait, spent the funds on the Dolmar instead. I have a 20" husqvarna bar that is used but very good condition to put on it for now.

Wouldnt trade my 562xp for a 6100 or a 357. Ive ran 1 357 and it felt like a heavy medicine ball!!!! Ruin my outlook on wantin one and for sure doesnt feel balanced like a 562xp

I would like to just keep all of them, but I dnt know if that is the way it will go or not. I found a 390 today, so something might have to go, maybe my one 044.

I have a few 60cc saws and others like the 6100 and even echo 620p I'd happily own. But without a doubt the 555/562 design is the smallest/best handling on the market. I say this not being a husky die hard, its just the truth. Congrats on two good saws, it will be interesting to see which one you decide to keep.

The 562XPGW is NOT leaving, lol. I missed the 562XP I had, I never used it much but I just liked knowing it was there, I lost sleep when I parted with it. The 6100 is a very interesting saw to me, I owned 1 already and think the power is there, but I like the feel of the 562 better, might part with it, but i am not in a hurry right now. I like that is is a Dolmar and my son likes it the most of all of my saws, might get him a 421 like it to match.

The Dolmar is just plain cool with its air filter and reed induction. Definately a saw the engineers put some thought into. I wish the 5 series husky's had a round pleated auto style filter like the Stihl and Dolly's but nothings perfect.

I do like the sleekNess of the Dolmar and their fitter is a great design, they thought out of the box for sure, keeping a carb and not going autotune especially.

you ran the wrong 357. :zplayita:
Not for me no matter how well it runs!! Lol!! Felt chunky/ round / fat was my first impression. Id rather the feel of a 550/562 anyday over that feel and I hate wide fat bottom saws being whatever kind it is. Dont think Id like the 6100 just because of the wide bottom but theres no doubt its a heck of a running saw. Just personal preference I guess:)
