So how balanced is the 241 with that 18" bar? If you put a hook around the top handlebar and hung it in midair, would it tilt any, or just look as if it were sitting on flat concrete?

My 661 is surprisingly balanced with the 20" bar on it. Now the 36" bar, Yhey ghads and little fishes, it acts like it is trying to take a swan dive into the ground.

Feels perfectly balanced and practically floats in mid air!! Lol

How long ago did you have one? And for what length of time?
One season. I actually cut several cords of firewood with it. It didn't have any problems, just didn't have the 'wow factor' I was looking for, and it felt quite heavy/bulky for the size and power... they are good saws, though.

My only husky experience, was the one my dad melted, as it he was cutting wood with it until the saw melted..... plus there was/is the whole dealership thing.
Dealership doesn't mean much to me. It's more important if you have a stihl, because they only sell the parts through a dealer. You can buy Husky parts online. I work on my own saws, too.

I like all brands of saws, but I have my preferred models in each size, and most of those are Husqvarnas... I am partial to the 2 and 3 series saws. 346xp is what I like in the 50cc range.
