Guess I'll start walking now.....
Something to think about is a schedule for the day. In the past get togethers I've been to it would help.
Here is a example
8:00am--Meet and greet. Sign waiver, go over a few rules. Group picture.
9:00am--big wood show down. Sign up for the racing events
9:15--pie eating
10:00-- chain build off testing.
12:00--Dinner bell, lunch served. Pass the hat around.
1:30--Do a drivers meeting for the racing, go over rules. Cant racing starts.
3:00--.Saw polishing Demo by DDave.
4:00--Group picture
4:15--pie eating extravaganza
Thoughts?
seems a bit much to have the whole day planned. When is there time to goof off and Just play with saws?
Fixed!!
Hosting a gtg is a lot on the host. Some organization can eliminate a lot of headaches.
To many Yankees in one vehicle them southern boys may take that the Wong way [emoji13]I don't know where to post this, but I was thinking a Pa. Contingent may be able to ride together to crash this party? I am not ever sure about my work schedule, and I drive a Jeep Wrangler, so I can't offer anything really. Just a thought for the Pa. Kids to work on in the weeks/months ahead.

The crew from HL Supply will be here too. I've met exCanuck (Steve) and his son Hunter, and I'm really looking forward to meeting Gentleman (Bruce).
We're gonna have a blast....

And he's a hoot to watch tuning his saws in wood lolYes sir. I invited Brad Snelling personally. He's been having some health issues.....and could use our good thoughts and prayers. I hope he is able to attend, he has a very nice collection of saws, and his presence would add a lot to our GTG.

AgreedHe's a high strung feller. That's for sure. I do hope he can make it.
You want to give his insurance underwriters a coronary? You know Randy, the only thing I haven't heard mentioned yet is a PTO or belt driven Buck saw. That could be interesting. Especially hooked to an old A, Massey, Int'l or Allis...
