It's fun til yer ass hurts. I put a new seat on my 1920 a couple months back. You don't realize how dead the foam can get until you set in a new one.
those old pan seats the farmalls had were the killer and that spring under the seat didn't help one bit. i was plowing with a old H one time and found a whole in the field when the seat came down and bottomed the spring my ass felt like it had been shattered in 1 million pieces.

I spent 9 straight hours on a tractor today.......farming is such fun. :)
The morning after my Daughter was born, (First kid), we found out that my F.I.L. (amazing guy) was across town with diagnosed Glioblastoma brain tumors about to be cut out of his skull. I had arranged for 2 weeks of paternity leave for myself planning on getting to know my daughter. I spent the first 10 days instead driving a 70's era Int'l with a roof, pulling a 16 bottom drill, while my Wife's cousin drove Her Uncle's new 110hp ford with a/c, XM stereo, auto steering, air ride seat, etc and had the nerve to give me crap about my uneven rows (being my first time) with a decided lack of steering... LOL It was a "Character" building experience, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
