Mason was running a 385XP that sounded pretty great at one point and when i looked over he challenged me to a race against my 084.
We ran a few times and that Husky is a nice one, I cant remember who he said built it.

That be me. I had it in TN and never broke it out

Scott had this little baby ready to race, but it didn't get run much because the race chain on it was really filed for a different size/type of wood but this little saw ruuuuns!!
I got to run it too but Scott was sitting down on the job so you will have to just enjoy the chip shower :)

That saw was fast!!!
But I learned what over chaining will do.
Gotta match the chain to the saw...

It does look a little intimidating for sure. One must also know his own limitations. That type of cut is not for everyone.
You gotta really be careful.

well it was your saw, think i'll just keep it:monoloco:

Funny guy...

I was just scrolling back reading these comments :
The darn thing was a treemonkey 261, it was hard to believe.

I asked Scott how I could make my 261 run like that. He handed me his business card.

That 261 was exceptionally fast. I don't think I've seen a faster 50cc saw.

That 261 shouldn't have been able to do what it did, that saw was the most impressive one there, at least to me it was.

Yes it was your saw.
You are going to like it!!!

I was going to say "Okay Scott and Julian, time to send her home..."

Scott has the arctic 261 pretty dang dialed in.
I had the Mofo MS260 running really happy at 16,300 WOT in tuning that morning and running a 16" picco bar and Stihl stock PS chain and the MS261 ran ahead of me each time we raced, I ll get some vids up in the next couple days.
Lots of great racing.
The dollar races were a blast even though I suck terribly :)
Our hosts did an amazing job and the culinary staff were friggin awsome :)
So many cool guys to talk to and line up against, just a whirlwind of a good time.
