What’s the best approach to vac testing this saw? Is the only way to remove intake by removing cylinder. I have a leak but not sure [emoji848] it’s the way I’m trying to plug the intake holes.

I’m not a fan of this saw at all. It’s a friends saw and it is scored.

The Husky kit comes with 2 plugs for the bottom
2 holes and a standard carb block off plate except it has a notch cutout for the plastic point (top right) sticking out.
Before I got the Husky kit I used tapered rubber stoppers I picked up at the hardware store. You might find a stopper for the carb hole as well and use the plug hole for p&v. Beware it's a 10mm plug.

I went to Menard’s today and bought an assortment of rubber plugs in the bolt isle.

They seem to work well. I have a very tiny leak over time now. So now I’ll pressure test it for bubbles and see what I come up with.

It hold 10hg on vacuum and I pressure tested to 5psi and soap sprayed seals etc and no bubbles found. So I’m leaning to bad fuel or issue possible with auto tune. I have no reliable shop around here to deal with on the auto tune. So who here can I send this set up to to check and or update the firmware on this saw?
