So I finished the boss's project for today...but no progress on the 026. I did do some thinking. By increasing the RPM from 14,100 to 15,500 air flow through the filter increases by 10%. OK that's simple math... 24.399 CFM to 26.836 CFM. Now those numbers seem low until you think about what a shop air compressor moves for air. That is why the choke flap is a major hold back on an 026/260 saw. That's a bunch of air through the little air filter hole. Now that velocity through the carb helps low speed performance on the flip side.

Just ramblings and thoughts.....
