I met spacebus on AS a few years ago. He bought a used 346 on eBay and it ended up being scored. He sent it to me and I cleaned the cylinder up and ported it and installed a new piston.
I believe he came here a couple months ago just looking for something different than AS. No need to hang a noob just because his opinion is different than ours. Hell, I’ve never thought about it like that, but he makes a good point. We *b-word about how the younger generations don’t take responsibility for anything, but we aren’t taking responsibility for them either.

I agree Kevin, everyone needs to learn to be responsible. Look at the word, response-able, I take it that you are able to respond in a mature, calm, thoughtful way to any given situation. Taking responsibility for something or someone is going further of course but you can't take responsibility if you aren't responsible!

None of my business and I'm just a nobody, but what made this country different and special was the diverse thinking and differing opinions. We could argue and cuss and in the next breath, slap a flag on our shoulder and march off to save the world. Together.

Over time, certain segments of our population has devolved into complete intolerance of differing opinions that has now resulted in the current 'cancel culture'. They've put themselves in boxes and only recognize the differences.

I don't agree with much of what comes out of SpaceBus's mouth, but I also don't believe in canceling his opinion because it is different than mine. If I did, that would make me no better than those divisive fools who have brought this country to it's literal knees over the last 6 months.

I just want to talk about saws and stuff. I come here to get away from the crap reality of our divisive culture and the non-stop bickering on the news.
