One of the issues I have with the ATF/Acetone mix is find a decent steel squirt bottle to put it in.

The acetone has not degraded the plastic? That is what worries me some.

Been using LUBRIPLATE Chain & Cable Fluid with good results for years.
Usually takes just a couple of drops.

I cannot even get a plastic spray bottle to withstand Picloram let alone acetone. That is why I use steel squirt cans but decent ones are hard to locate.

You gotta hit up yard sales and find the old ones, they always hold up it seems, some of my mine were my gramps.
If I need something unstuck and I have time I use PB blaster, deep creep or move it.
Oxy-acetylene if something wants a fight

Easy peasy......just ask your sister/wife/neighbour/mistress for any spout bottle for hair colors (they get them in a kit)

Those with threded ends are the best!

They all work at least to a certain extent .Just plain old kerosene will get-er-done most of the time .A really hard case will respond to the good old smoke wrench if it can be used .Attempting to free up parts on a rusty old bull dozer with penatrants is like taking a pee in the Atlanic trying to raise the water level .

Good old diesel.
Not the "dry" modern crap though, the old oily diesel.
Nowadays either boat diesel or heating oil.

WD40 is ok, but too much of it just evaporates so it needs to be reapplied.
It is also pricey compared to diesel.

New kid on the block. About half cost of Kroil and every bit as good, possibly better.

My former favorite was PCL from Break-Free before the formula change.
