I like Hornady critical defence but that in my Ruger LCR 357 and Spring Field XD 40. If you get on there site and watch what the 380 can do its impressive.
I always disliked 380s mostly because the price of ammo, but when I saw the ballistic tests compared to 9mm, I was shocked! I thought they were closer to 22s but they pack some heat. I’d still prefer a 9mm. I’m pretty sure I’ve got some Hornsby defensive 38 spec which should be decent if I haven’t thrown them away. My s&w 357 dosent like cheap ammo

I have a virtual machine I use to test sites like this.
First, the phone number listed in the tread (above) does not match the one on the site
Thread - 251-265-3635
Site - 331-725-7618
The second link in the thread does not work...
The site shows they are Colorado but there is No detailed information on Who They Are!
So far my software scans are not putting up any Red Flags as for virus, but I will continue to monitor.

More than likely a simple phishing scheme. Ordering $500, $1000, $2000 in ammo isn't uncommon for a lot of folks as is waiting 2 weeks for it. You could sell a lot of fake non existent ammo in 2 weeks.

That sounds like the site I went to. Prices are a little to good to be true. Shipping was 20$ regardless how much u bought. Then they send some weird payment email separately. Definitely a scam.

When you start typing in '@philip' doing a member name search in a post, you get two user member names that start with 'philip'xxx and neither are this philipjones character. Nor does 'philipjones' even pull up. Albeit, 'philip' is a member name, last seen on site in Apr of '17.

Whatchu think Monkey?... @Mastermind

Looks like scam central to me!

As far as carry ammo. I would strongly suggest the HST. The Sierra bullet that Sig uses is good as well. The Barnes bullet is a good choice. Also the Winchester Ranger bullet. I would never choose the Hornady Critcal Duty/Defense. See photos. The HSTs in these photos are the short barrel versions.

The biggest expansion i’ve seen in 9mm is Norma MHP. I’ve never personally shot them.

Idk about that. I shoot what I can either find locally or buy to load my own. The HST is just very consistent. Shot trees, pigs, dirt, tin, etc… and it usually looks just like the photos.
